Bathroom packages are one of the strongest use cases for China sourcing because many items repeat across rooms: vanity units, basins, tapware, toilets, mirrors, drains, accessories and lighting.
The challenge is coordination. A cheaper vanity is not useful if the basin does not fit, tapware lead time misses production, mirror lights fail documentation or spare parts are not packed for the project.
Build the package by room type
Start with a room matrix. Each room type should list vanity size, basin, tapware, toilet, mirror, light, accessory set and any accessibility requirement. This lets suppliers quote the whole package instead of isolated products.
Check compatibility before ordering
Many bathroom defects are coordination defects. Confirm basin cut-outs, tap hole positions, drain location, wall fixing, mirror power connection, cabinet moisture resistance and packaging dimensions.
- Confirm vanity drawings and basin fit.
- Check tapware, drain and supply connection assumptions.
- Request finish samples for metal, cabinet and stone surfaces.
- Prepare spare parts for high-use items.
Samples and mock-up rooms
For hotels and apartments, a mock-up room can prevent large mistakes. It lets the buyer test sight lines, installation sequence, lighting colour, cabinet access and maintenance details before hundreds of rooms are produced.
Packing by room or by product
Packing strategy should follow site operations. Some projects need product-by-product pallets for warehouse storage. Others need room-by-room kits to reduce site sorting. The decision should be made before production so carton labels and packing lists match site workflow.
